Finally, a Picture of Karadzic
He was hiding as a Doctor of alternative medicine, going by the name Dragan Dabic. His appearance is different from the Presidential pictures with his thin frame, long beard, long white hair, and glasses to hide his face.
This picture was shown at a Serbian press conference. No indication that Karadzic is ailed by a bad knee or hip.

I am not sure the previous comments was to the War Idiot Radovan Karadzic or the writer.
I just want to say. Idiot for this guy is nice workd, I think he is a monstrume and there is not many people like him, at least outside of that region.
Also I hope that world will finaly start to think clearly. He is a sick man but his sick project is till live. That project is so called REPUBLIKA SRPSKA
I am so happy a horrific monster like him got caught, but what with a guy like Franjo Tudjman who is still a hero in Croatia and even the Bosnian leader in that period. What the Serbian militia's did was horrific but the people knew nothing what happened because of the propaganda during this period. Who suffered the most during the war, the regular people of old Yugoslavia Croats, Serbs and Bosnians. As long as NATO and the west will look at this way nothing will change,
I agree with the last comment. We need to put the things right - it is not true that the people from the Serb ethinc groups are the only and the most responsible for the war in Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia. We need the whole truth, the whole picture! What about the European officials - especially Germans - and the U.S. representatives who did their best not to prevent or even created the circumstances for the different ethnic groups in SFRY to settle their problems with the weapons? What about the people who were killing innocent Serb civilians? If we don't make it right now we will have new massacres in Balkans at least once in the next 100 years. Think about it.
Last August I stayed in the Hotel Splendid in Becici. Security at this hotel was over the top, men patrolling the primeter of the hotel armed with machine guns. At appromimately 10.00 p.m. every night on the bar on the first floor security personnel would come out and sweep the area then a man who looked very like Radovan Karadzic appeared and people practically kissed the ground he walked on. Most of people working in the hotel were from Serbia and thought that Radovan Karadzic was very special person. The person who looked very like Radovan Karadzic was never seen during the day or before 10.00 p.m. and always was surrounded by security personnel. Hopefully the person arrested on Friday was really Radovan Karadzic.

Thank you mate. How do we even know that Dragan "David" Babic was really Karadzic. He might just be some one acting to be him to stop the search.

it is great to see that some things never change... in this case, the use of the comments section of this blog as a lightning rod for vitriol from karadzic supporters.
Alternative therapy.
The Serbian people are a group I admire greatly. They have been profligate with achievements in science, sport, academia... the list goes on.
Karadzic represents the very worst and is not representative of the Serbs.
Why fall on your sword for this guy who knows killing so well but has no other contributions to speak of for Yugoslavia?
